Holidays in Egypt
Some years agaon I went on Holiday to Egypt and to quote Victor Kiam, "I liked it so much, I bought the company". Well not quite, I actually took a third share in the company.
The company at that time was Los Amigos. They offered "cheap / budget / discount holidays in egypt" mainly directed at the backpacking market. Their service was fantastic, but the marketing was really average to say the least. We built a new website for them and took over the admin side of things. The business boomed. I will go into this further.
As business increased it was obvious we needed to increase the range of clients to whom we could offer services. Shades of Egypt was therefore born.
Shades still offered Tours of Egypt and Holidays in Egypt but now as opposed to just backpackers, we could offer trips for people looking for 3 and 4 star service. (Los Amigos previously being 1 and 2 star)
Sure enough of course, with the new clients this bought in, the inevitable happened and some of these wanted upgrades - the answer of course... Cartouche Travel.
Cartouche was able to offer true 5 star holidays in Egypt / Deluxe tours of Egypt - This market has really been good for the company and enjoyed by all the clients that chose to go with the 5 star option.
To tie everything together we eventually formed One World Tours
One World encompassed all the other 3 companies and is now a great portal for anyone planning tours of egypt / holidays in Egypt or vacations in egypt. From within the new site you can plan your trip, get information on the sighit to see and even see how the weather is right now.
A foot note to this story is that One World has now expanded into other locations and now we offer in addition to Egypt, Holidays in China, Holidays in Thailand, Holidays in Jordan and Holidays in Hong Kong.
